New middle school teacher, first impressions: Ms. Halliday

Where are you coming from?
Ms. Sarai Halliday previously worked at Copenhagen International School for eight years, where she was the after school activities coordinator, as well as a classroom assistant

What subject do you teach/ what position do you hold?
MS ASP Director and Robotics Director.

What were/ have been your first impressions of ASL?
Her first impression of ASL was the incredibly bright student body. She noted that the student body was “motivated and respectful” and that applies to the staff too.

What is your favorite part of ASL?
Ms. Halliday’s favorite part about ASL is the people: the students and the staff.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Ms. Halliday enjoys spending time with her dog and listening to music, hence, she enjoys attending live shows. She also loves reading, cooking, and travelling.

What is an interesting fact about you?
When she lived in Boston, Ms. Halliday used to be in a Brazilian samba band and she played gigs all over Massachusetts.
