New middle school teacher, first impressions: Ms. Sepie

Where are you coming from?

Ms. Jessica Sepie is a returning teacher to ASL, however, previously, she taught eighth grade and fifth grade science and was a substitute teacher for both lower school and high school as well, before her present position.

What subject do you teach/ what position do you hold?

Ms. Sepie currently teaches fifth and sixth-grade science.

What were/ have been your first impressions of ASL?

“Everyone was super friendly!”

What is your favorite part of ASL?

Ms. Sepie loves the small community, hence, she is familiar with many students, even if she doesn’t teach them.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Although Ms. Sepie has limited free time, whenever she manages to squeeze in some free time, she enjoys hiking, being in touch with nature, and cycling around the city when the crowds are sparse.

What is an interesting fact about you?

An interesting fact about Ms. Sepie is that she is “a big science fiction nerd” and is really looking forward to the new season of Doctor Who!
