Grade 7 boys orange soccer team has challenging season

The grade 7 Orange soccer team has had a challenging but fulfilling season. The Orange team is one of two seventh grade soccer teams. Although the team had wins and losses this season, the team learned how to fulfill their jobs on and off the soccer field.

The season kicked off with an away game against ACS Hillingdon blue team resulting with a 7-1 win, with striker Sam Smadi scoring a hat-trick. This helped spark confidence throughout the team, and pushed the players to work hard throughout the season. 

At the mid-season jamboree on September 23, the team played three consecutive games at ACS Cobham, resulting in a win against Cobham Green 2-0, a tie against Hillingdon Blue 0-0, and a loss against Cobham White 1-0.

The Orange team then faced the other seventh grade team, and lost 2-1 on September 28. This was a close game that helped the team understand what they need to work on.

A game followed against Cobham Green on October 10 and resulted in another loss, with the score 3-1.

Overall, the team did well over the season, and throughout it they showed perseverance through tough events. The team improved on skills and character during practice and games and a significant improvements were made and it was noticeable at the end of the season.
